Y-Bridge Arts Festival

See you on the Bridge...
Friday, August 7, 2009, 6 pm to 11 pm and
Saturday, August 8, 2009, 10 am to 11 pm
For two days, the East Main Street span of the historical Y-Bridge
in Zanesville, Ohio will be closed to traffic while we
transform it into an outdoor gallery of white tents and lights.
Our city will play host to over two hundred visual artists, craft
demonstrators
and performance artists along with thousands of tourists from across the
region.
A stage, located near the center of the bridge, will spotlight scheduled
performances by dancers, singers, writers and poets
and presentations on our historical bridge and city.
The band Southern Fried Rock will perform on Saturday night to close the
event.
Food concessionaires will offer fare from local restaurants.
The canal area will become a children's interactive learning center
with so many fun activities they are too numerous to list.
Bring blankets or chairs and come spend a fun-filled day ON our
historical bridge
