For centuries, un-repentant sin would condemn the violator to Hell. To gain Heaven, you had to give up (or at least try hard) your errant ways and try to follow the Cross. Declaring this intent, meant the 'church' could accept you and endeavor to help you in your struggles with evil. Enter the liberal. To ensure he feels good, the sinner must also feel good about being in the 'church'. There must be NO 'pressure' on the sinner to correct his errant ways, for this would make the sinner feel BAD. The sinner might give up and leave the 'church'. This would make the liberal feel BAD, because he had 'pushed' someone out of the 'church'. The liberal solution. No Sin, of any type, repeated any number of times and with no attempt to stop, can prevent acceptance into ANY part of the 'church'. Thus, no one might ever want to leave the 'church'. Everyone is HAPPY. Is God ??????????? |
